The hunt for the WSOP #77: $ 5,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event champion is over with Bulgaria’s Stoyan Madanzhiev “Nirvana76” emerging victorious after a six and half hour battle against 37 other contenders. For his incredible achievement, Madanzhiev claimed the massive $ 3,904,685.63 first prize and clasped his first ever WSOP championship bracelet. He also climbed into the top spot of the 2020 WSOP Online Player of the Series race.
At the WSOP #82: $ 1,050 Beat the Pros [ Bounty ] bracelet event, Iran’s Malikeh Sadat Jamali “Melirazavii” aka Melika Razavi crushed the final table to lock up her first gold bracelet and a career high $ 151,127.30. After 49 days of 2020 World Series of Poker Online [ international ] games taking place on Natural8 – GG Network, the grand festival has reached its final day. Running since July 19th, 50 champions have been crowned. Four bracelets remain. Registration is open on three of those events. We’ve provided all the info below. The WSOP #79: $25,000 Heads Up NLHE resumes with four players returning to slug it out for the title, the bracelet, and the hefty one million dollars.
WSOP #77: $ 5,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event – Stoyan Madanzhiev – $ 3,904,685.63
The brand’s prestigious tournament drew a massive 5,802 entries across 23 entry flights for a record breaking $ 27,559,500 prize pool – the largest ever in online poker history. 38 players returned to action, each one seeking their first WSOP championship title. In the aftermath, it was the lone Bulgarian in the field, Stoyan Madanzhiev “Nirvana76”, who seized the glory, the $ 3,904,685.63 first prize, and the WSOP championship bracelet. Added in was a $ 15,000 WSOP Europe Package.
Like all the other WSOP Main Event champions, this was a life changing victory for Madanzhiev who prior to this event had no wins to boast of. Based on The Hendon Mob, he only had $ 31,268 in winnings and no WSOP live cashes. Today, he is a multimillionaire.
Madanzhiev wasn’t the only player to pocket seven figures. Three players were guaranteed over a million dollars as well. Runner up Chinese pro Wenling Gao “HappyDX” (2nd) who won her seat to the Main Event via $ 500 Mega Satellite earned $ 2,748,605.39, USA”s Tyler Rueger “BeatMeater” (3rd) pocketed $ 1,928,886.64, and New Zealand’s Thomas Ward “readytoship” (4th) took home $ 1,353,634.44. Like the champion, all of them banked their single largest tournament score.
Over at the Natural8 players section, three of the seven reached the final table, Satoshi Isomae (5th), Team NLG pro Stefan Schillhabel “Schilli33” (7th), and Samuel Taylor “WhyEsEl” (9th). Benjamin Rolle came close, exiting in 11th place.
For all the remaining bracelet holders hoping to add a second to the chest, their time at the felt was rough. Bryan Piccioli “smbdySUCKme” who entered as chip leader, went deepest in 23rd place. Michael Lech “MiguelFiesta” busted 31st, Jonas Lauck “rddkpp1” out 34th, and Arkadiy Tsinis “Kamsky” one of the earliest in 37th place.

Recapping Madanzhiev’s road to victory, he gained momentum when he caught a lucky flush with on a board to oust Natural8 Team Hot ambassador Phachara Wongwichit in 27th place. Following that bust, he railed another Natural8 player, Martin Arce “colinchow” (25th) then Manuel Saavedra {24th). All three players were failed by Ace-King.
After knocking out Julian Stuer “DanBiz” (22nd), Madanzhiev won a big pot against Samuel Vousden with flush on a board to dust two pair. He proceeded to deny England’s Craig Timmis in 13th place with pocket Kings dominating pocket sevens, and stacked up further by railing Vousden (12th) and Mariano Martiradonna “TiroGiro” (10th). Madanzhiev entered the final table trailing chip leader Tyler Rueger by a narrow margin.
The final table action was dominated by three players, Rueger, Madanzhiev, and Wenling Gao. The trio eventually faced off after Gao eliminated New Zealand’s Thomas Ward in 4th place. This was Gao’s third victim of the final day with pocket sevens dominating pocket sixes. After numerous orbits, Gao railed Rueger in 3rd place with pocket Kings staying ahead of Ace-Queen. She entered heads up against Madanzhiev on a slight chip deficit.
Despite Gao’s hard jabs, it was a tough battle against the leader. Madanzhiev grinded down the aggressive Gao with raises and three-bets to collect a succession of big pots. When the gap widened to nearly 3:1, the final hand arrived. Gao’s Aces were cracked by Madanzhiev’s straight with the all in seen at the river.

Half past the thirteenth hour of play, Iran’s Malikeh Sadat Jamali “Melirazavii” aka Melika Razavi defeated American pro / ring holder Dylan Linde “mexcal” to lock up her first WSOP bracelet and a career high score $ 151,127.30. Jamali joins Amir Vahedi as the only other Iranian to win a series gold.
Entering the final table, Jamali’s poker portfolio clearly took a back seat to most of the players virtually seated. Famous pro Elio Fox was looking to score a third bracelet, Canadian pro Michael Leah hoped for a second, Martin Zamani and Dylan Linde “mexcal” were circuit ring winners, Andre Difelice “ubermensch1” was on his 11th cash this series, and high stakes online grinder Peter Chien “BIG CHI”, on his 14th cash, had the chip lead. With no prior WSOP live cashes, Jamali and Vadim Stoyanov “Danis_Love” were the only two players seeking their second ever series payout.

The final table ran for three hours. During the time, Jamali eliminated three players with Stoyanov (9th) as her first victim. This immediately gave her the chip lead. Linde emptied out Fox (8th) with over . After Chien crashed out in 7th to Difelice, Jamali dusted Leah (6th) then half an hour later, she gobbled up Zamani’s chips (5h) with pocket nines turned quads. Difelice claimed his second head in Leonid Yanovski (4th) to bring about the three-handed round.
To describe the round, it was loaded with aggression as players threw everything at each other. This led to big pots shuffled around the table that ended with Difelice falling to Linde with off suited Ace-Six running into pocket kings. Heads up lasted a lengthy forty minutes with Jamail ahead 2:1. Twenty five minutes in, Linde caught up after Jamali bet-folded to a shove on the hand below.
Jamali went back on the grind and quickly reclaimed the chip lead. From there, Linde struggled to win pots as the gap between them widened. The final hand arrived with Jamali pushing on the river holding full house on a board . Linde tank-called for all his chips with two pair. Jamali’s win makes her the third female champion this series.
